Welcome to St Martin's Church

Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.  Joshua 1 verse 9

STOP THE TRAFIK

24 January at St. martin's Church at 11.00

Discussion with a focus on Stop the Trafik - a chance to explore connections between the Bible
and our concern for human traffic and exploitation.

Please join us for Coffee Break on 19 January in the St. Martin's Room in the Church.  We will be here from 10.00am until Midday.  Drop in anytime.   Everyone is welcome.

All people are welcome at our services and activities.   We come to church to give thanks to God and to seek his way in our lives.  We are all on a journey of discovery.  We are not perfect.  We don't expect you to be.  None of us are.  We try to live in the way Jesus taught his followers to, with patience and generosity.

The ringers and ringing

We currently have a band of about ten ringers and it is very rare for us not to have enough people to man the bells each Sunday - although we could always do with some more recruits. Our practice night is Friday from 7:45pm to 9.30pm and visitors, ringers or not, are very welcome.  We have an anti-clockwise circle of 8 bells. On Sunday mornings we ring from 9.30am to 10.15am.
The Tower Captain is Catherine Lewis. She can be contacted on 01959 563767.

All the current members of the Brasted band are members of The Kent County Association of Change Ringers, the body which co-ordinates ringing activities in the county of Kent. The KCACR has its own web page on www.kcacr.org.uk. If you would like to find out more about ringing in Kent, please try this site - it has a lot of information about all aspects of ringing.
