Brasted Village Fete : Saturday 26 July 2008 |
 |
|
Brasted Village Fete was enormously successful last year and the
increased income generated meant that the Brasted Village Fete Committee
was able to donate a record £3,500 to local charities and worthy
causes.
|
 |
|
The
Village Fete is a very important event bringing our community together
for local people of all ages to have fun and to showcase the many
activities and clubs that are thriving in the local area. Without the
valuable support of local businesses, that of the community and the Fete
Committee this would not be possible. As in previous years, the Fete
Committee is looking for financial support to fund the setting up costs
of the 2008 Fete, including the hire of equipment, purchasing of stock
and donation of items for the charity auction and raffle. All profits
raised at the 2008 Fete will be shared between Brasted & Sundridge
Evergreens, Brasted Village Hall, Brasted Recreation Ground, Brasted
Chart Recreation Ground, Brasted Youth Club and the Kent Air Ambulance
Trust.

As
with the last Fete, we are offering three options for this year: |
 |
-
We
will print event Programmes, which will be circulated free of charge,
both in advance by hand delivering them to homes in the village and
through local shops and businesses that are prepared to display and
dispense them, and also by handing them out on the day to visitors to
the Fete. In this way, advertisers who support the Programme can be
sure that their advertisement is seen by a large number of local
people as well as visitors to the fete. Advertising in the Programme
is available at £40.00 for a half page or £30.00 for a quarter page
and a full page ad is available on the back page for £100.00.
|
 |
-
We
will be holding a charity auction on the day of the Fete and we are
looking for offers of goods or services to auction on the day. Again,
your business or name will also appear in a full list of donors in the
Programme and your contribution will be acknowledged during the
auction.
